My PC, out of no where, has started making the UBS connect and disconnect noise constantly while the PC is running.
It's gotten to the point where I have muted the sound from my system alerts just so I can use the PC without going insane.
The noise alone isn't the biggest problem, but when I'm playing a game like Overwatch, the audio from the game will be cut out when the USB connect/disconnect noise happens, even though I've muted the system alert noises. I noticed yesterday playing Dead by Daylight that in addition to the noise coming in and out, the video would stutter too. The video issue only is happening in Dead by Daylight.
I want to try and see what is constantly connecting and disconnecting so I can fix it, but I don't know where to start. Is there a place in my PC that has a log of sorts that tells you that sort of information?
If not, is there anything I can do to try and fix this?
