Last night my laptops fan started being very, very loud, to the point where it was spinning so fast you could feel it vibrating. The noise was akin to a chainsaw in my opinion. I took a short video: https://youtu.be/o9bMUYM4gjo (for the record nothing was running on the computer it was just on the desktop) After taking the video I turned the laptop off and went to bed assuming the noise started due to being used a lot that day.
This afternoon when I got home from school I turned on the laptop to find it still making the noise. Not really knowing what to do, I took out the battery and tried to clean it off a bit with blowing on it and a tissue, even though that might not’ve been the best course of action. It seemed to help actually, cause after I turned on the computer again it to find it not making a noise as loud, yet it’s still there. I think this is probably a temporary solution. Is there something I can do better on my own or should I look into professional help? Thanks.
