Background: For about a month, whenever I go to a website, it loads very slowly. The google search is fine but when I click on a link the load speed comes to a standstill. Sometimes it takes so long that Firefox asks if I'm connected to the internet.
My internet speed is fine, 16.12 Mbps download and 4.79 uploads, and loading websites is slow on my desktop, laptop, and phone. Also, I've tried using Firefox and Chrome but there is no difference. When I download games from Steam the speed is fine but when I try to go to the Steam store it takes forever to load. Loading sites like YouTube and Netflix are slow but the videos themselves load and play fine. Also, when I play games like League of Legends, my ping is the same as it has always been.
I've tried a several different solutions from forums on other places. I've restarted my router, in fact my ISP, AT&T, sent out a new one but with no effect. I have used the command ipconfig /flushdns but nothing changed. I've started my computer in safe mode with networking but it was still the same. I have run malwarebytes on my desktop and laptop and only found a few minor things and aftwerad nothing changed. I'm slowly losing my mind with the slow speeds and any help would be appreciated.
