I am a decently tech savvy person but internet and routers are not my thing.
I have a fiber optic connection, no modem on my end, just a router. Can't connect pc directly to the network so I can't test that. My router does say it's connected, but even on my phone it does not work.
Backstory :came home to internet troubles, nothing new, restart the router, try a cmd as admin, ipconfig /release renew flushdns. Didn't work, try windows troubleshoot windows cannot auto detect network proxy
Ok, checked proxy settings, nothing g there, as expected, dns is set to auto find, tried manually 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, nothing, reverted to auto.
Disabled and enabled ethernet, reset all network settings and ticked delete all personal data.
Still nothing. Re entered username and password at Wan connection, nothing. Reset router to factory default, retype user and password, nothing.
Tried the nets ipv4 and 6 reset, reboot, more ipconfig release renew flushdns (as admin), Nothing.
Tryed system recovered, option grayed out, no versions saves.
I am lost.
