I have the weirdest issue and I am at the end of my rope. I have a Laptop (Schenker XMG P707) which I dualboot Fedora and Win10 on. Now sometimes when I start it up I just get a blank black screen. no bootlogo, nothing. It seems to go through the full boot however since I can shut it down with pressing the powerbutton once after having waited for the OS to start up. Some other times it just works perfectly fine. I have no clue anymore how to troubleshoot this.
Interestingly enough it all started after updating to a newer Fedora version. Linux on machines with Nvidia Cards is always a bit a pain. Especially if there is a dedicated and integrated GPU (I disabled that and it should always default to the Nvidia GPU because Optimus is terrible for Linux).
However I can't imagine an OS update screwing up boot behaviour that bad. Any Idea? The irregularity of it would make a hardware issue unlikely in my opinion.
EDIT: I think I will try a BIOS update maybe that helps
