Hey guys, I decided to tackle the annoyingly high fan speed of my desktop pc today and am little lost after a few hours of research.
My setup: Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 (stock) i7-3770 Win10 64bit Processor Socket: LGA1155 Socket Chipset Type: Intel Z75 Express Nuvoton NCT6776F monitoring system (http://webshop.atlantikelektronik.de/Mailings/NCT6776F_NCT6776D_Datasheet_V1_2.pdf)
Even on startup the fan speed already rises and drops randomly for a second every then and now. I did not experience any bluescreens or crashes lately, I even ran Elder Scrolls online and couldn't detect any performance issues. So I tried several monitoring programms (OpenHardwareMonitor(OHW), SpeedFan, CoreTemp, HWMonitor) and got strange results.

the Temperature #3 (OHW)/SYSTIN (HWMonitor) was at 66°C and did not change at all

but the Temperature #1/CPUTIN went wild. This temp randomly went up and down in a range from 27-29°C all the way up to 110-115°C at max. The jumps occur in a matter of a seconds as well as the drops which is impossible as far as my limited knowledge of physics tells me. The fan speed correlated with the rise in temperature.
Since all other temperatures are line with the core temperatures I hope this is some kind of sensor error. I read that the CPU cooling unit might sit on the chip at an angle which hinders the proper heat transfer: loosend the fan and tightened it again whichout any change. I also read that the heat paste might be outworn but I never changed the heat paste on a CPU so this would be the last option I'd want to try.
So what I would like to do now is to identify the real issue:

is there a problem with my cooling unit? Do I need a new CPU cooler/need to apply new heat paste?

is there a problem with the temperature sensor? Which one, where would that be located? (seems most likely to me)

is there a problem with the fan control?
In what ways can I approach these issues further? Thanks in advance
