Since my PC was getting slow from a long time of extensive use, I wanted to reinstall windows. I upgraded from windows 7 to 10 since I could install it using an USB drive and I have no windows 7 disc lying around.

The problem now is that I get a lot of random freezes with windows 10 and it took me a couple of tries to even be able to install it. I start to thinks my hardware is not compatible. I have a i5-2400 CPU and intel DH67CL motherboard, which people say should work with windows 10 (at least the CPU).

The stupid thing is that I did not make a back up of my files. Is there any way I can revert back to windows 7 using an USB install or get windows 10 to work properly or can I throw my stuff in the trash?
