If I uploaded a bunch of songs to Play music, and they all ended up creating one-song albums cluttering up the album page, and I used a third party editor to bulk edit the album names for those mp3s and reuploaded them to Play music, what would happen?

The last thing I would want to happen is for google to recognize it as a separate song and create a duplicate upload. I would rather it take the song that had no album info and replace it with the one with album info. Is this indeed how it would work? I would like to know before trying and screwing up my entire library.

Any help is appreciated.
