So I've lived with this issue for a quite a while and never figured out a solution to this. I'll go to play a game and my computer just crashes. After looking through some system logs, it seems like it's the graphics driver crashing. When this happens, the screen goes blank and game audio can still be heard in the background. It takes a restart for the computer to return to normal.

And yes, I've tried updating my graphics drivers.
