So starting a few days ago when I hit the power button fans would spin up however my GPU would fail to turn on the lights and things wouldn't come on. Typically just took 1-2 tries and it would work, so I ignored it.
Well then it started shutting down if I put load on the PC, running furmark or Prime95. I hooked it into a watt meter and it seemed like the PC died anytime it went above 300watts. So I concluded eh my powersupply is going bad and just failing to provide power above that. So I replaced my power supply.
However now It won't POST at all the fans turn on but no POST beep. My debug LED on my board was giving me a 00 error (reseat the CPU) I did that cleared cmos, put in only 1 stick of ram, put the GPU in a different PCI-E slot. It then said chipset can't start, reboot again then VGA error, restart again and a different error. This is the second motherboard in 6 months, I thought the first one died due to overclocking I haven't OCed on this new board. I can some times get it to start on Motherboard 2, but it locks up in the BIOS so I won't attempt updating the bios, I have flashed the newest bios on motherboard 1. When i can get it to startup I can run Prime95 for a hour or two on the CPU and its fine.
