Hi Everyone,
MY boss has been responsible for purchasing and assigning new Office plans for users until last week when it became my responsibility.
Looking at all of our current licenses, we have 52 active Exchange Online (Plan 1) and 18 active Office 365 Business Premium plans. The problem is that all 52 of the Exchange-only licenses also have Office 2016 installed. I’m not entirely sure how.
So I’m reaching out because 1. Are we abusing / misusing Office licenses by paying for the cheapest plan and then reinstalling Office Suite on all of these computers based off of one license? Are there ramifications for this? Should I bring this up to my boss, or follow the SOP that this company has been using for years.
