Marinir Uji Coba Radar Hughes

Dispen Kormar (Hambalang). Korps Marinir TNI Angkatan Laut melakukan uji coba dan kepelatihan Radar tipe pengamatan permukaan/Darat, Radar Hughes atau yang dikenal Ground Surveyland Radar System (GSRS) di Bukit Hambalang, Sentul Bogor, Jawa Barat, Rabu (15/02/18).



Uji fungsi ini dilakukan guna mengetahui kemampuan mendeteksi, mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi musuh yang bergerak berupa kendaraan maupun personel secara terus menerus dari arah 360 derajat dan dapat dibuat Zona Clearing Alarm yang dapat mendeteksi musuh yang masuk wilayah tertentu. yang rencananya akan memperkuat Alkapsus Korps Marinir menjadi lebih modern, khususnya Batalyon Infanteri Marinir dan Artileri Korps Marinir.



Radar Hughes menyediakan solusi surveilans mobile berbasis radar yang lengkap untuk integrasi dengan kendaraan, Sistem dapat dikerahkan sebagai radar mobile SharpEye SxV tunggal yang terintegrasi dengan sistem tiang - tiang teleskopik kendaraan atau trailer mandiri.
