Dua Kapal Patroli TNI AL Produksi Batam Diserahterimakan dan akan Dipakai di Makassar dan Papua

TRIBUNBATAM.ID, BATAM - Dua unit Kapal patroli Combat Boat AL D-18 yang diproduksi di PT Palindo Marine Sungai Binti Sagulung, diserahterimakan kepada TNI AL, Jumat (9/2/2018).

Dua kapal Patroli Combat Boat AL D-18 diberi nama Patkamla Pulau Yapen danPatkamla Pulau Langkai.

Keduanya bernomor lambung I-10-21 dan I-6-63.

Keduanya, nantinya akan ditempatkan di Lantamal IV Makasar dan satunya lagi akan ditempatkan di Lantamal X Jayapura.

Aslog Kasal Laksmana Muda TNI Mulyadi yang mengahadiri serah terima kapal tersebut mengatakan, kapal ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat Lantamal di Indonesia.

"Untuk Tahun 2017, kita memesan delapan unit kapal combat Boat AL D-18. Sebenarnya jumlah ini masih kurang, namun anggaran kita sangat terbatas,"kata Mulyadi.

Kapal patroli Combat Boat, memiliki panjang 18,85 meter, lebar 4,20 meter, tinggi 2,8 meter, crew 4 orang dan kecepata 47 knot,  diharapkan bisa mengejar para penyelundup dan kejahatan- kejahatan yang terjadi di laut.

Dia juga mengatakan saat ini TNI AL sendiri baru memiliki sekitar 60 persen untuk kebutuhan kapal.

"Jadi masih banyak kapal yang kita butuhkan,"katanya.
