For the past week or so my PC has been getting blue screen of death'd with "DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" every couple hours. I've tried fixing this already by:
1.Reinstalling windows
2.updating bios/ssd firmware/device drivers
I've also taken a glance at system event logs but I don't really know how to interpret the information.
Perhaps unrelated, a while after I started getting BOSD regularly, I would also get high ping and dropped packets from servers for just 1 particular game. When I run ping in cmd it shows a lot of dropped packets, and tracert shows one row returning *asterisk values. However when i run ping/tracert with the diagnostic tool on my router, it shows no packet loss. Also speedtest shows very healthy numbers.
Could something be wrong with my mobo? Or something else?
