I'm looking to future-proof my travel kit a bit, I currently have an Anker power bank and wall charger that are great, but they're the standard 5v/2.4A variety.

I recently upgraded to a 13" Spectre X360 for my personal laptop, which supports USB-C charging. I've tried both adapters with a Type A to Type C USB cable, but neither charges the laptop at all (and I didn't really expect them to, I'm throwing 10 watts at it, the CPU uses more than that alone, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try)

I've sourced a replacement for both the power bank and the wall adapter that seem like they'll work for my purposes, and it'd certainly future-proof my kit a bit as more and more devices switch to USB-C, but there's very very little out there in terms of reviews because this type of gadget is so new.

I just want to make sure I can plug one of those into pretty much any device with a USB-C connector and not have to worry about anything exploding. I'm fine to use my Spectre as a guinea pig, but I'm the guy people usually come to when on a road trip or something to get a charger, so I just want to make sure I'm fairly safe using chargers like those two on other people's equipment.

Thanks!
