Greetings. I have a MacBook Pro 13 (with Touch Bar 2016), model A1706, already out of Apple's 1 year warranty. The problem is that the spacebar's butterfly clip (the white piece that holds the keycap to the cup) broke the four upper pins. The key is working, but wobbles, and only registers if I click it on the upper center, which is rather annoying for a web developer. Repairing through the oficial apple repair stores in Portugal costs me almost 600€ as they only replace the whole top-body (keyboard, touch-pad and touch-bar), which definitely out of question for me, as the key is usable, it's just not practical and I can't really afford that right now. I found the replacement part online, comes with the keycap, the clip and the cup itself. I've been fixing laptops for a couple years now, but it's my first on a MacBook. Has anyone done this kind of repair? Is it easier to snug the white clip on the transparent support or just replace the whole with cup? I could really use some help guys.
