Acer Aspire xc-704g Windows 10 x64 I have a very slight suspicion that this may be somewhat hardware related but i really am lost.
After logging into windows 10 the screen would be black with cursor. I tried startup repair, rolling back to previous versions and booting in safe mode... none of these would get me past the black screen.
Using the advanced options i went for recovery. It went through its whole deal up to the point it wanted me to select time zone and what not and I would hit ok and it would think for 30 sec then go back to the same timezone selection screen. Tried this 10+ times and nothing happened. I was stuck in this loop.
After reading on google mentioned to plug into ethernet... 3 hours of the computer thinking later nothing was happening. It was still stuck. After a hard reset the computer turns on and gets stuck on "Just a moment.." screen and i am not able to do anything.
Other things i have tried: Unplugging everything except for power cord and hdmi. - No change (except for keyboard error screen) Yelling at it USB boot media from Microsoft but even with changing bios to boot "Removable Media" first it does nothing
Edit: Turns out yelling at it was the fix. I didnt change anything and it finally gave me the option to boot from USB
