This just recently started happening. I use this external as my storage device for my media server and at first, just assumed it was Plex having issues, as usual. I have since learned it is the external who is at fault here.
I first attempted to pull a movie from the external and it copied over half of the file then the copy file progress screen frooze, had to restart my computer. Tried again and same thing. When I try to watch a movie through Plex, it will get 10 minutes into and then buffer, once it starts buffering it wont restart the video. Eventually the drive removes itself and my pc says it is unrecognizable. Is my drive just starting to die or is this fixable?
