Problem: Fan won't start anymore but still lights up. Turning it manually feels very stiff.
Few questions.
1) How did it break? I have been using compressed air (or sometimes a reverse vacuum..probably too heavy duty, the ones you use for cars) to blow it. It hasn't been a problem in the last 6-7 years but I'm now learning I'm supposed to hold the fan still while I clean it. Is that correct?
2) I actually held the 120mm fan (after blowing it without holding it for 5 seconds) cause I remembered halfway, what I should do. And didn't hold any of the other fans (gpu, cpu, front of case), but only the 120mm fan broke?
3) Will computer be prone to overheating until I fix/replace it?
