So I had a MacBook that I sold. I backed up all of my info from the Mac and had the intention of moving it to my PC. The HD is formatted as FAT32 I think. When I plug it into my PC, a few things happen:
Windows Explorer can't see it. Device Manager sees it. Disk Management doesn't have anything in the top field except my optical drive (D:), my SSD (J:) and my internal hard drive (C:). In the bottom field where it shows primary partition and unallocated, it does see the external HD. It has Disk 0 as the C drive. Disk 1 is the J drive. Disk 2 is the external HD and it just says unallocated. I can't do anything to Disk 2 except Convert to Dynamic Disk or Convert to MBR Disk.
I have since sold the MacBook and I don't know anybody with one. I have all of the pictures that I've taken since 2005 on this HDD and also all of my music. My plan was to put the files onto a Mac locally, format the external HD to NTFS, and then move the files back to put on my PC. But since I don't know anybody with a Mac, I'm kinda screwed.
What are my options here?
