I'm at a loss. I've installed and reinstalled SSMS 2012, SSDT, VS2012 etc and more recently today I grabbed the SSMS iso and installed VSTA 3.0 directly (design time + runtime x86 and x64).

No matter what I do, VSTA never appears in the registry under HKCU/Software/Microsoft, nor HCLM/Software/Win6432Node/Microsoft. All I can see is VSTO (tools for office) and VstaHost.

The ultimate issue is that I cannot edit SSIS scripts in VS2012 (shell) because it cannot detect or execute VSTA.exe (I also cannot find this manually).

Here is an example of what I'm seeing in VS2012 (screenshot not mine)

VSTA design time + runtime 86/64 are all in my installed Programs list
