I have an ASUS Zenbook UX305FA (Microsoft Signature edition) from 2015. It was originally Windows 8 but has since been updated to Windows 10 (not clean install). I used to have much better battery life. I never specifically measured, but I would guess around 5-6 hours of use. Now I get about 3 hours. I ran a battery report and saw that the battery is down to 36 Wh from the original 45 Wh. I feel like I'm getting worse battery life even factoring in the degradation.
Will doing a clean install of Windows 10, since I haven't done that yet, improve battery life? Or is this typical battery aging? If not, is there a way to see what the battery draining culprit is? Thanks in advance.
