Lancia un petardo tra i piedi di un disabile affetto da disturbi psichici e le immagini riprese da un telefonino diventano virali sui social. È successo ad Acquaviva delle Fonti, in provincia di Bari, e l’autore del gesto è un vigile urbano che ora rischia conseguenze disciplinari.
Il bersaglio della “bravata” è un 70enne molto conosciuto in città: in passato - raccontano alcuni residenti - è già stato al centro di episodi sgradevoli. L’uomo sarebbe stato persino schiaffeggiato e avrebbe subito altre umiliazioni e vessazioni. Il lancio del mortaretto è avvenuto alla presenza di altri concittadini in piazza Madonna di Costantinopoli dove ha sede il Comando della Polizia Municipale e poco distante dal Municipio.
Il sindaco di Acquaviva delle Fonti, Davide Carlucci, ha ordinato l’avvio di un procedimento disciplinare nei confronti del vigile. Dopo esser stato interrogato dal suo comandante il 45enne è stato e messo in ferie. Sulla bacheca Facebook del sindaco, oltre ai commenti positivi sull’avvio della sanzione decisa da Carlucci, alcuni cittadini definiscono il gesto del vigile urbano un “atto vile” e di “bullismo”. C’è, poi, chi invoca “il licenziamento”. “È uno schifo - scrive una cittadina al sindaco - Un vigile che compie questo gesto indescrivibile, pietoso nei confronti di una persona debole, indifesa quando , in queste circostanze , i vigili dovrebbero dare solo il buon esempio!”.
“Il vigile ha spiegato di non aver agito con sadismo e si è reso conto di aver sbagliato. Per noi l’atto è vergognoso perché potrebbe indurre qualcuno a sentirsi autorizzato a compiere gesti più violenti nei confronti del disabile”, ha dichiarato Davide Carlucci che annuncia anche di voler “rivedere il Codice di comportamento degli appartenenti al Comando della Polizia municipale”. Si indaga anche su chi ha girato il video e da ieri sera ha iniziato a diffonderlo viralmente su WhattsApp.
