Hello!

I have a USB that fell apart when I took it out of a work computer that was a particularly tight fit. When I pulled it out, the 'head' of the USB stayed in the computer and the rest of it came out in my hand. Normally I would find a way to solder it, but I am thinking that wont work in this case as 2 out of the 4 'connecter' bits (don't know what they're actually called- see pic below for reference. I labelled the 4 connecter bits as '100') seem to have fallen off in the blow. Without these metal bits connecting the drive to the head, I am thinking it wont work even if I solder it back together. Is there anyway I can get this working again?

I did some research and read some complicated things about taking apart a regular old USB cable and attaching a new head onto my USBs body. Is this viable?
