My computer has one VGA port and one HDMI port, and I'm trying to get a two-monitor setup, but I can't get the HDMI port to output anything to any monitor.
I looked into the computer and it looks like it's wired properly, but I didn't inspect it closely. It's a Gateway, the model number is SX2865-UR11P. I'm using Windows 7. Windows says that my graphics driver is up to date. (but I can't for the life of me figure out what driver I have other than that it's Intel) I'm trying to use an HDMI to VGA adapter. I haven't tried with any other cable/adapter, but the adapter has been tested on other computers and it works. My secondary monitor works, I tested it with the VGA port.
Did I give enough information? I hope so. :/ But if I didn't make sure to let me know. :3
