architetture sostenibili nel mondo. Dopo i progetti di Bosco Verticale di Milano, Nanjing, Utrecht, Tirana, Losanna, Parigi – e dopo la diffusione globale del video/appello per la Forestazione Urbana (
http://ift.tt/2CTkuTq) – arriva oggi l’annuncio del nuovo Bosco Verticale che sarà costruito nei Paesi Bassi, ad Eindhoven.
La Trudo Vertical Forest sarà il primo Bosco Verticale destinato al social housing e dunque rivolto a un’utenza popolare e in particolare a giovani coppie. La torre ospiterà nei suoi 19 piani appartamenti con affitto calmierato, che godranno della presenza sui balconi di centinaia di alberi e piante delle specie più varie.
“Il grattacielo di Eindhoven conferma la possibilità di unire le grandi sfide del cambiamento climatico con quelle del disagio abitativo. La forestazione urbana non è solo una necessità per migliorare l’ambiente delle città nel mondo, ma l’occasione per migliorare le condizioni di vita dei cittadini meno abbienti” dichiara Stefano Boeri. L’edificio è stato fortemente voluto dal committente Sint-Trudo e darà spazio a 125 unità abitative adibite a social housing.
“La Trudo Vertical Forest definisce nuovi standard abitativi. Ogni appartamento avrà una metratura di meno di 50 mq e disporrà di 1 albero, 20 cespugli e più di 4 mq di terrazzo. Tramite l’utilizzo della prefabbricazione, la razionalizzazione di alcune soluzioni tecniche di facciata, e quindi l’ottimizzazione delle risorse, sarà il primo prototipo di Bosco Verticale destinato ad alloggi sociali” dichiara Francesca Cesa Bianchi, Project Director di Stefano Boeri Architetti. La Trudo Vertical Forest sarà un grattacielo di 75 metri che ospiterà sulle facciate 125 alberi e 5.200 tra arbusti e piante.
Creerà all’interno dell’ambiente metropolitano un habitat verde per lo sviluppo della biodiversità, un vero e proprio ecosistema con oltre 70 specie vegetali differenti in grado di contrastare l’inquinamento atmosferico, grazie alla capacità degli alberi di assorbire oltre 50 tonnellate di anidride carbonica ogni anno. La caratteristica degli edifici della famiglia di Boschi Verticali è quella di concepire la vegetazione e la natura vivente come elementi costitutivi – e non più solo ornamentali – dell’architettura.
Per la progettazione della componente vegetale della Trudo Vertical Forest, lo Studio Laura Gatti, diretto dall’agronoma Laura Gatti (che ha collaborato nella realizzazione del Bosco Verticale di Milano e in altri progetti di forestazione urbana con Stefano Boeri p. 1 Architetti) lavorerà a stretto contatto con DuPré Groenprojecten di Helmond e il vivaio Van den Berk di Sint-Oedenrode.
Sint Trudo sarà responsabile per la manutenzione.
