La denuncia arriva dalla Federconsumatori, che si portavoce delle segnalazioni pervenute dagli utenti sul costo dei sacchetti bio, usati nei supermercati e dai fruttivendoli.
"Abbiamo già denunciato - si legge in una nota di Federconsumatori - come sia certamente necessario impegnarsi a livello istituzionale per aumentare la consapevolezza dei cittadini consumatori relativamente agli impatti che i sacchetti di plastica hanno sull'ambiente, intervenendo per contrastare la problematica diffusa legata allinquinamento da plastica monouso: tutto ciò, però, senza chiedere ai cittadini di sostenere ulteriori costi". L'associazione di consumatori mette in evidenza che è a rischio l'obiettivo primario di sensibilizzare i cittadini verso una maggiore sostenibilità ambientale perché il costo di un tale provvedimento "se calcolato nel suo complesso, potrebbe risultare gravoso per le famiglie italiane".
Federconsumatori parla di una vera e propria "speculazione in atto soprattutto nelle farmacie". "Molti cittadini - si legge ancora nella nota - ci segnalano, infatti, che tali esercizi stanno addebitando costi spropositati per i nuovi sacchetti di plastica: dai 10 ai 60 centesimi a sacchetto. Un importo decisamente sproporzionato. Per una famiglia che, mediamente, si reca ad acquistare medicinali o dispositivi medici presso una farmacia una volta ogni settimana, l'aggravio sarebbe di 20,80 euro l'anno". "Invitiamo i cittadini a fare attenzione ai costi che vengono loro addebitati per tale voce e, nei negozi, portare sempre con sè sporte e sacchetti riutilizzabili, rinunciando così del tutto al sacchetto e al relativo costo", conclude Federconsumatori che ha deciso di fornire un vademecum dettagliato per fare "chiarezza su quanto contenuto nella nuova normativa, smentendo le false notizie circolate in questi giorni" sui sacchetti bio.
