I just replaced my old PSU with a new EVGA G3 650W, and everything was working fine for the first day (was able to browse, play games, etc.) Today, I tried to open League of Legends and have since been hit with blue screen after blue screen.
Each blue screen has pretty much been different, and here's a list of the ones I've run into:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (got this multiple times)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (What failed: nvlddmkm.sys)
CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT (gotten this one multiple times)
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (what failed: partmgr.sys)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
I'm currently running chkdsk on my C: drive (it's stuck at 15%, but I've only been running it for an hour so hopefully it moves). I've tried opening up my PC and making sure all the PSU connections are secure and going to the right places as well. I also run sfc /scannow and everything looked good on that front. I would appreciate any help, as it's been really frustrating trying to deal with a bunch of blue screens that are different. I suppose the main cause is the new PSU I installed yesterday, but I'm not sure where I went wrong with it.
Here are my specs:
CPU: Intel i5-6600K
Motherboard: Asus Z170-AR LGA1151 ATX
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti
RAM: Crucial 16GB 2X8 D4 2133
PSU: EVGA G3 650W (used to have Corsair CX750M)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
HDD: Western Digital 2TB Black
Cooling: Corsair H100GTX
Wireless Card: Asus PCE-AC68
Let me know if any other information is needed. Appreciate any and all help!
EDIT: Check disk finished up, and I don't think anything was wrong. Still getting blue screens, though.
EDIT2: I'm able to boot into safe mode, and things look like they're working, so I'm assuming it might be a driver problem?
