Over the last few days I've noticed 2 of the games I play most, PUBG and Rainbow Six Siege that while playing 90% of the time, everything is fine, but randomly without warning my GPU utilization will drop mid game and subsequently my frames. Then it will hop around from 20% to 98% and anything in between. At first I thought it may have been a problem with power delivery because my i7 7700k was OC'd to 4.8ghz on a 550W PSU. I've taken my OC off and ensured that max performance is set in Windows power manager also updated my NVIDIA drivers. I don't know what's wrong, and I've tried everything that I can think of. Also I didn't change anything in either games prior to the problem occurring. I'd also note that changing graphics settings had no effect.
