Just got a WMR Lenovo Explorer, and I'm running the following: Intel Core i5-4670 @ 3.40GHz/8GB RAM/AMD Radeon R9 200/64-bit OS. After some finagling, I got the VR running. At normal AMD Catalyst settings, the headset image lags. Slow, choppy, etc. If I go into my AMD OC settings though, and turn up either the GPU, Memory, or Power Level allocation, the VR image becomes perfect except for image flicker (it is a very intense distortion). The most noticeable impact comes from adjusting the GPU speed. The higher it goes, the more intense that flicker. If I go too high, my system just sizes up (even though AMD is already capping how high I can push it. This happens regards of the headset).
I'm familiar with how OC is supposed to work, but it's something I do very, very, rarely. Why is my WMR headset responding this way to my GPU adjustments? Is there a way to optimize my system to meet these requirements for having a smooth experience in VR?
All my drivers are up to date. Everything that needs to be updated, is updated. Unplugged, restarted, etc. I've done all the basic troubleshooting. Help is greatly appreciated.
