For as long as I can recall, my gaming laptop has never been able to play games at optimal frame rates, let alone optimal graphics. I don’t know much about computers but I know that there’s a problem when my school laptop (ACER Spin 5) can run PUBG and CS:GO smoother than my gaming PC.
The specs of my laptop that I know of are as follows:
MSI Apache GE72 2QC
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GTX960m
Processor - Intel i7 4720 HQ
RAM - 12gb
I’ve gone through NVIDIA control panel and set everything to use the “High-Performance NVIDIA Processor” for the 3D settings, my PhysX processor is my GTX 960m, and my games are “optimized” through GeForce experience.
I should mention that games run beautifully on the lowest settings of my Acer. On my MSI games run terribly, even on the lowest settings.
My memory usage is only at about 25% so I’m very confused as to what’s happening. I’ve gone to so many people and posted in a couple of threads but to no avail.
If you’re up to the challenge, please help. And yes I’m aware that there’s only so much you could have me do since you don’t have the computer physically with you.
