My Philips 237eqph is having some issues and I just want to make sure there's no way to fix this besides opening it up and doing repairs.
Whenever I turn off my PC or put it in hibernation, I turn off my screen. Recently (last few days) turning the monitor back on after a prolonged period of it being off has become quite a pain. It will flash the Philips logo for less than a second and turn off immediately and remain unresponsive to pressing the power button for a couple of seconds.
After an increasing amount of attempts (at first it was maybe 2 or 3, today I sat here for a good 10 minutes trying to turn the monitor on) it'll remain on, but with desktop icons shuffled to a side and windows resized. Also, today I had a bluescreen(GPU/atimdag.sys driver failure) while trying to turn my monitor on.
Now I haven't tried the monitor on a different machine (I have some work to do so I'm not going to turn it off for a while) but I have tried turning it on while not connected to the PC and it still has the same issue.
Any ideas?
