I'm gonna be honest here this is new ground for me, I've been trying to research how to do this on my own and at this point I'm just stumped and can't find any real concrete answers online so if anyone could help I'd appreciate it a lot.

I've contacted TWC (Spectrum) twice and neither tech could help me with this issue, right now I'm using my router's 6to4 tunneling option since I can't use a static ipv6 address (I've even tried directly connecting to my modem to see if it has one) and at this point I'm not even sure if this issue is worth pursuing further since everything I've read about ipv6 has been vague and nebulous at best. The only concrete positive I've found is that ipv6 has no need for NAT since you have a unique address and there's no need for it. All of this rambling and I just have two questions:

Is 6to4 tunneling an adequate replacement for an actual ipv6 address?

And if not, how do I force my ISP to give me one, if I can?

My modem is a tp-link TC7650 and my router is a tp-link archer C9. I'm running a PC on Windows 10 build 16299.192 if that helps
