It happens every few minutes and I used to be on a wired/wireless connection (Ethernet plugged into wall adapter) and I thought that was the issue. I just bought a brand new ethernet cord and it seems to still be happening. I reset windows a few days ago and I think it might have started then but I don't remember. It isn't the modem because that stays online and wireless has no issues it's just my computer.

EDIT: So I just started playing an online game (archeage, an MMO), and I have disconnected about 3 times in the past 5 minutes where before it was maybe once every 30 minutes.
