Recentemente se n'è andato il fondatore dell'Ikea Ingvar Kamprad(1).
Kamprad è stato e sarà ricordato per la sua grande carriera imprenditoriale, per la sua filantropia e la forte etica del risparmio ma anche per il passato da simpatizzante del nazismo, che lo stesso Kamprad definì essere stato il suo 'più grande errore della vita'(per approfondire, consiglio questo articolo su Blasting News.
Andando nello specifico, Mr Ikea si iscrisse al partito di ispirazione fascista e nazionalsocialista Nysvenska Rorelsen('Nuovo Movimento Svedese') e fu un grande amico, almeno sino agli anni cinquanta, del suo leader Per Engdahl(2).
In seguito lo stesso Engdhal divenne uno dei più importanti teorici e militanti svedesi di quella parte dell'estrema destra tendente al neofascismo che sosteneva idee paneuropee(3), e che fu ben rappresentata dal movimento 'European Social Movement'(di cui Engdhal fece parte).
Quando Engdahl se ne andò, nel 1994, lo stesso Kamprad lo elogiò e qualche anno fa si sono diffuse mediaticamente delle voci che sostenevano che lo stesso fondatore dell'Ikea non avesse abbandonato la sua credenza nel nazionalsocialismo anche dopo la fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale(4).
Comunque sia, Mr Ikea considerò erronea la sua scelta filonazista e disse che era stata una 'follia della giovinezza'(5).
Inoltre, c'è da dire che lo stesso fondatore del colosso svedese non è mai stato sanzionato per il suo passato nazista e ha potuto godere di un'importante influenza anche durante i governi socialdemocratici di Tage Erlander e Olaf Palme.
