I have a Windows 10 my personal laptop, I used to use the school wifi but I don't anymore. I still have an icky feeling that they might still be tracking my history.

My school looks at your activity very closely (people get questioned about their internet usage a lot). They use Smoothwall to block certain websites, and you have to install a SSL certificate on your device to access YouTube etc. I used to be able to delete it on my laptop but can't find the option to delete it from my phone, can a security certificate be used to track devices?

A while ago, I got questioned about my internet history as I accessed a video sharing website that could be used to bypass internet restrictions etc, and I had a chance to have a brief look at my profile. It showed apps that launch on start-up on my Windows 10 which was strange because there is usually a delay when connecting to the wifi. It also showed history on my phone (Format being "mobile 4G phone: recent records) despite barely using the school internet with the school wifi - I usually just use data.

I deleted the school wifi from "known networks" however I am always logged into the school outlook email on both devices. Can that be used to spy on anything?

So I was wondering, when I'm not connected to the school wifi, can I still be tracked on my own devices? How can I ensure I'm not being spied on at home? sorry noob questions, I'm really not tech savvy

EDIT: Hey so I don’t NEED to use the school internet anymore, I can use a hotspot. But I was just wondering if there was any way that the school could still track what I do within school site (but not with their wifi) and at home.
