A while ago I was getting ransomware attacks from Yahoo.com and no other site. It pops up a dialog box that says give us money to fix your computer blah blah. I can usually just hit back or close Chrome and it goes away. Sometimes it's a script that makes a request to a server a millions times and the computer freezes and I have to restart. I don't like this type of thing happening on my computer whether it is dangerous or not so I ran a fully updated scan through Malwarebytes and then ran a full scan of Windows Defender. Neither found anything. Then I went through my installed programs looking for anything out of the ordinary and everything was looking good. I checked the cookies for yahoo and just deleted them all and nothing changed. The only thing I could think of after that was to block the forwarding site in my firewall which didn't stop the attacks but did prevent the pages from loading and the freezing function I mentioned above. Today I started getting new ones only on Yahoo.com. What do I need to do?
