Hello everyone, first my computer specs:

I started experiencing random shut downs a few months ago. I came home one day, to find my motherboard stopped outputting video, so I bought the 730 card. My computer worked fine for about a month. When I went to use my computer, I found that the computer had just shut down, just poof, whole thing turns off and it’s not Windows “safe shutdown”. Most of the time, my computer will give me about an hour to use it, then it will shut down. Sometimes, If I get lucky, it wont shutdown and I get to use it perfectly until the next scheduled Windows Update restart. Then, the whole process begins again. I checked Event Viewer and it gives me a critical error, event ID 41.
I know random shutdowns can occur from a failing PSU, but I don’t detect any abnormal noises coming from it.
It might be worthwhile mentioning that sometimes, the motherboard will not detect the boot (SSD) drive and will give me a “insert book disk” message. This problem has been occurring since I bought the board several years ago (I bought it from an eBay seller).
If anyone has any suggestions on how to narrow down the culprit, I would gladly appreciate it.
