So first off, I have windows 10, a gtx 1080ti, i7 7700k and 16 gbs of RAM. I have this plugged into a Sony x900e.
First my issue was the HDR looked washed out and looked my refresh to 30 in most games. I fixed this by using HDMI 2 instead of 1.
Now I can get 60 FPS, and the color she look brighter and more vibrant, but things look over saturated. Definitely not right. I have windows HDR off, which I heard isn’t correct, but can’t turn it on either way. It won’t let me. I set my tv to hdr 10. I set my nvidia control panel settings to full, 4k, rbg, and 8 bit color (only option). Is there anything glaringly wrong with how I have things set up? Any advice how to get the HDR to look right? I would appreciate it, as those tv was over a grand and right now the picture looks better with HDR off.
