I am trying to recover data from an unreadable 32GB Micro SD card. Used as expanded storage on an Android phone. Should be chock full of decent quality photos. Using Windows 10 PC which is built to run VR so it's no slouch. I've been running the program for 4 days now. It has "detected" 700 PNG files, every one exactly 18.09kb which seems odd to me. I also cannot "preview" any of the images so I'm wondering if I'm even getting anything useful. The scan is showing about 10% complete. The data is irreplaceable sentimental photos I'm recovering for a friend and I'll let the darn thing run for 30 days if it works, but I don't know if what I'm "recovering" is any good.
I can't get the SD card to even be recognized with anything other than EaseUS so far and it seems we're stuck working with RAW data. I'm patient, but I am not expecting thousands of low quality images. I'm hoping at least if I let it just keep going it will find something actually good. Any input appreciated.
