Hey guys. Hopefully someone here has an idea. I'm not exactly new to computers, but this has me stumped. My school laptop is a little 13 inch dell touch screen that folds over. It's pretty nice, has a 6200U in it.
Lately I've gotten a series of issues.
If i let it sleep, and wake it, i get a screen glitch. Its a bunch of red and white and grey and black dots, down to a pixel level. Only thing ive ever seen close was when my 280x gpu took a dump and artifacted into oblivion.
If i hold the power button til it shuts down, and reboot, it loads the gui just fine. I sign into windows, etc.
BUT wait there's more!
After I'm to my home screen, I have no network. Into device manager I go, and the internal wifi card is non-existent. If I allow itself to perform a network reset, all is fine. It reboots, comes back online (no igpu issues when this happens) and it even connects to remembered networks.
I can perform this like clockwork, 100% reproductable. It's not stopping me from using it, but this 7 minute process is a headache every time I open the laptop.
Any help is appreciated! My next idea is to do a complete reinstall but I have to move my school files first.
