CPU - i7 6700 (skylake, yeah but aslong as it works.) GPU - EVGA GTX 1060 6GB RAM - 16gb ddr3 PSU - EVGA 500W
Would this technically work?, currently Windows 10 is installed on UEFI Partition, Secureboot is enabled. I would like to install windows 7 on dualboot (i need 7 for specific programs and for my work).
Could i do it so that, when i switch to Legacy Bios Mode it automatically boots to windows 7, because legacy bios mode is only windows 7 right? and not windows 10 because that's uefi. So i could have 2 partitions on 2 disks, 1st partition windows 10 UEFI on my GPT SSD and 2nd partition windows 7 legacy bios mode on my MBR Hdd?
So really would it work if i switch between uefi and legacy bios to get a dualboot going without an annoying menu? It's because on my pc i don't want a menu for OS's,
normally i just want it to boot to windows 10 uefi, so the bio setting is left on uefi. I want it so that if i switch to legacy bios it will boot to windows 7, if i switch back to uefi then windows 10.
Will it work?
Extra Questions:
1 . Also would Windows 7 be fast on my 7200RPM MBR HDD? (i don't want windows 7 to touch my ssd)
2 . Will the Windows 10 UEFI bootloader be overwritten by the Windows 7 Legacy Bios install?
- When i update windows 10 will it mess up my windows 7 legacy bios install?
