Since this morning I've been having problems caused by my wifi adapter causing hard freezes and BSOD's when it connects to my home router. The problem is super reproducible, everytime I enable the the wifi adapter and connect to my home network it crashes within 10-20 seconds. It connects just fine and I'm even able to open chrome/begin loading web pages but inevitably it will hang and then BSOD or lock up completely. My drivers are all up to date, I've spent all day on that but still the problem persists. I'm currently using the computer with an ethernet cable plugged in and it's having no problems whatsoever.

I've done system file checker, checkdisk, used ccleaner to clean up the registry etc., updated drivers. I've tried uninstalling the network adapter and reinstalling it with the latest drivers etc.

I'd like to avoid having to do a fresh OS install if possible.
Thanks for your help in advance!
