what is happening
I was factory resetting my laptop and it was all working fine before the reset. After it wiped the drives of all my data, the pc began to reinstall windows. During this reinstall the installation stopped at 27% for about 30-45 minutes.
Then the laptop BSOD'd
I then get taken to a black screen which can be turned off with a single tap of the power button.
I made a bootable USB with the windows installation media and plugged it in. I went into the bios and made that the device it boots from. I am then taken to a HP logo for about 5 seconds then spinning dots appear below the logo. This happens for about another 10 seconds then the screen returns to a black screen.
I've left it on this screen for 30 minutes and still nothing. However this screen requires me to HOLD down the power button rather than just push it once as I did previously with the other black screen before the logo.
Fans are on and bios beeps when I enter it.
