Estoy volviendo a ver Las chicas de oro (1985-1992). En el episodio On Golden Girls (1x6) el nieto de Blanche, interpretado por Billy Jayne (que luego protagonizaría Parker Lewis nunca pierde, una de las series de mi juventud), va a pasar unos días con su abuela. Sus amigas le recomiendan cosas que hacer juntos en Miami. Rose (la gran Betty White, la única que continúa viva con 96 años) le dice en concreto que le lleve al cine a ver Rambo con Sylvester Stallone. A lo que replica Sophia, la más mayor de todas y con cierto toque a lo Groucho Marx: "Suda igual que un puerco y nunca se pone la camisa", con sus risas enlatadas al canto, claro. Lo que no sabía en ese momento la actriz que interpretaba a Sophia es que siete años después trabajaría con el mismísimo Sylvester Stallone.


Estelle Getty (1923-2003) tenía 62 años cuando interpretó a Sophia Petrillo en Las chicas de oro.
