Hello redditors, I have an issue with my laptop. There is a temperature lock on my gpu which prevents gpu goes no more than 62C. When the gpu reaches 62C, gpu clock speed decreases to 400 Mhz which is a huge fps drop when i'm playing. I asked manifacturers forum about this problem and they say your laptop is made for multimedia. But my laptop has gtx 940mx which allows me a smooth Overwatch or etc. gameplay. When i play the game, i get 60 fps until it reaches 62c. Then suddenly fps drops 25 and it makes game unplayable. Please help me to unlock this lock. Ps: First time i bought this laptop there no such problem. They added with uptades. My laptop is: Lenovo Ideapad 510 -15ISK. Windows 10.
