Hi, as the title says, I am having this problem.
My setup is
- i7-5820k@3.75GHz (I think)
- 16GB Memory
- ASUS Geforce OC GTX 1080 8GB
- 1000W PSU (lol)
- 3 Monitors (1 is turned off but plugged in, I have another monitor thats just there to move stuff to the side then the 1440p monitor)
Monitors are
- ASUS PG278Q Monitor TN Panel 1440p/144Hz/1MS
- BenQ XL2430T Monitor 1080p/144Hz/1MS
- BenQ RL2455 (or something) Monitor 1080p/60Hz/1MS (Turned off)
Back to what I was saying, the screen would flicker on and off about 3-4 times then stop until about half an hour passed again. I was playing PUBG during this time. Haven't tried anything else.
In the past, I had this problem before after about 6 months of use. After some research, owners of the Asus monitor had this problem with the PSU being bad after several months. I bought a new power supply for the monitor (3rd party) eventually which has lasted over a year and a half until I've had this problem. Could the power brick/psu (whatever its called) be failing?
I have the GPU OC'd at a 'gaming' preset set by Asus' OC client/program.
