I turned on my PC today to a loading screen followed by this message: “Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation”. I would like to note that Windows has been installed and without a problem for about 2 years now. I obviously instantly looked the error message up on a Google and was pleased to find a plethora of search results; I thought the solution would be simple. The only problem is that the solution that was given and seemed to work for most did NOT work for me. This (http://ift.tt/2stQxrR) is one solution that appeared on most every website. My problem came in the step that requires you to type ‘msoobe’ into the command prompt. While this should launch a menu from which you can easily remedy the issue, the command does nothing for me. After typing ‘msoobe’ and hitting return, the command prompt returns the line: “C:\Windows\System32\oobe>” which is the same thing it returned in the previous line. The other solution that showed up a lot involved typing ‘MMC’ into the console, launching a menu from which you can fix the issue easily. My problem here is that I am unable to navigate this menu with my mouse/arrow keys once it launches. The final solution that I saw presented was typing ‘secpol.msc’ into the console, and following on from there. This too did not work as it should have for me. Thank you for any and all help!
