I don't know if this is the right place to ask, so please direct me somewhere else if it's not. But then, it's just so weird that I'm not even sure there can be a right place to ask.

So for the past year or so, every night at 0:26 and 0:31 AM, and 10:21 AM, I hear an incredibly high pitched noise in my room (or possibly house, not quite sure yet). It sounds almost like when your ears ring after hearing something loud. It goes on for about 5 seconds, then stops for 2 seconds, then goes on for 5 seconds again. In the morning I think it only plays once. When I am in a voice call with my friends they also hear the noise very clearly, as if my mic and headphones is picking up and amplifying whatever this is. The thing is, I can hear the noise even when my computer is turned off, and when I remove/unplug my headphones, so I don't think the source is from there.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm thinking it has to be some kind of electrical thing, like you can hear lamps and such hum, since it's being amplified by my headphones. But then, why does it occur at such regular times?
