I'm trying to stream MNF from the ESPN site. I have cable internet and I don't think its fast enough to keep up with the feed. It continually pauses to buffer, sometimes playing a few seconds of low def before switching back to high def. Then the cycle repeats. I'd much rather watch a continuous low def picture, than an intermittent high def one.
I chatted with the support on their website and asked if I could force it to stream at the lower bitrate, and they said that wasn't possible. I'm on a mac on wifi -- I've tried it on wired Ethernet and on pc and it was the same. The mac is just the one computer that I have a connector for my tv. Anyhoo... anybody have any ideas about improving this? It's nigh unwatchable... I have to keep it muted. Just want to force low-def
